Chapter 13 the best gift ever part 2

Shifu:" y-your pregnant?!" he screamed, still twitching and having his jaw dropped.

All po and tigress could do was shake their heads confirming the answer is yes.

Shifu:" I-if you could excuse me, I must…meditate." he said rubbing his brows, trying to gather up all the will  power for not wanting to beat po down with ever move he knows.

The others soon recollect themselves to congratulate the new family.

Mantis:" well this is…very unexpected."

Monkey:" y-yeah, with you guys just telling us this right after our mission."

Po:" well we wanted to wait, but-"

Tigress:" since  you're out friends we thought it's best to tell you know."

Viper:" well I'm happy for you guys."

Crane:" yeah me too."

Tigress then stated to feel upset. Her father has been gone for a while and thought something must  be wrong." excuse me guys, I have to see master shifu." she said running out of the kitchen.

Tigress finds herself at the entrance  master shifu's room. She quietly opens the open slightly to see if he was in there. She could see shifu sitting in meditating form repeating the phrase "inner peace" over and over again.

Tigress:" m-master shifu." she said interrupting shifu's meditating.

Shifu:" ah tigress…please come in."

Tigress walks into the master's room and sat quietly, ready to hear her father's furious yell.

Shifu:" tigress I-"

Tigress:" I'm sorry master shifu!, I am truly sorry!" she pleaded with tears dropping out.

Shifu:" tigress, it's okay."

Tigress:" I-it is. I thought you would be mad."

Shifu:" well I'm a little shocked and displeased that you became pregnant before marriage, but I am happy to be a grandfather."

Tigress then started to wipe the tears away, relieved that her father wouldn't flip out

Shifu:" tigress listen, everyday I become more older and soon it will be my time to pass this world."

Tigress:" but shifu-" she spoke, but only to be interrupted by shifu's hand.

Shifu:" please tigress. It's time we had this talk. When I'm gone I want you to take control of the jade palace. And when the time comes, give the responsibility to your child."

Tigress really didn't want to have this talk, but he right. It will only be a matter of time until the has come." y-yeas master shifu."

Shifu:" tigress please, we're alone, call me father."

Tigress:" yes father." she said in a more happy tone. This was actually the first time she ever called him that.

The father and daughter soon return back to the kitchen. Tigress then sat by po, holding his paw and snuggling closer. The others including shifu then stated to smile.

Mantis:" so po how are you gonna handle the months?"

Po:" the months?"

Monkey:" you know, the cravings, mood swings, and the other stuff."

Po then stated to sweat under his fur. He totally forgot about dealing with tigress and her mood swings for 9 months. He then felt a peck on his cheek. He turns his eyesight to see tigress giving him a small tender loving kiss.

Tigress:" it's okay po, I'm more stronger with my emotions than most people."


1 month later

Tigress:"  PO WHERE'S MY DUMBLINGS." she roared furiously.

Po:" c-coming." he said in a wimpy tone. He finally makes it into  the bedroom tigress snatches the bowl and digs deep into it. Po was pretty shocked to see his once well adjusted tigress into a hungry beast.

For the past weeks po has been dealing with the new tigress and her…appetite. She would ask po to cook unusual things like dumplings filled with chow mien, song-sao noodles mixed with long chao shou, and rice cakes dipped in soy sauce. Amazingly po managed to place some of the orders. If that wasn't enough for the panda, he also had to deal with the constant mood swings. Today she is in anger mode, asking for everyone to give her blankets, food, and pillows.


3  months later

Tigress:" po were are you taking me?" she said walking slowly while being blinded by po's paw.

Po:" you'll see." he said opening the slid door to let tigress in." surprise." he said removing his paws out of tigress's eyesight. Her eyes widen at the scenery.

It was a small nursery for the cub. It a bassinet, stuffed animals, toy blocks, pictures of  the masters, and a small tub for the baby to be washed.

Tigress:" po this is…awesome. You did all this."

Po:" well yeah. I mean it's nothing special. I had all this stuff when I was a cub."

The panda then felt tigress's lips impacting his. He eyes soon fell and his arms wrapped around her waist. Though it was hard. Tigress's belly grew larger and larger everyday. The two stood in the nursery, letting their tongues dance around.

the two left the nursery,  po wrapping  his arms around tigress's belly and walking behind her.

Po:" so do think it'll be a boy or girl?"

Tigress:" don't know."

Po:" okay, panda or tiger?."

Tigress:" don't know either, but I bet the baby will have your awesomeness." she said kissing his neck.

Po:" thanks sweetie."


8 months later

Po walks into the village greeting everyone the waves to him. He walks into a jewelry store  searching for something.

Store owner:" can I help you dragon warrior?" said the female pig

Po:" uhh yeah, I'm looking for a necklace."

Store owner:" oh well we have many kinds of necklace, any kind in particular."

Po:" well something that says ' I love you with all my heart'."

Store owner:" ah I see. Well maybe this one is the one." she said pulling out a necklace.

The necklace was silver, having four sky blue spheres on the ends and diamond shaped sphere in the center. All po could  say was in his thoughts was 'awesome'.

Po:" I'll take it."

Store owner:" that will be 100,000,00 yen please."

Po digs into his pockets to gather all of the money he has, but all came to a total sum 50,000 yen." oh sorry, don't have enough money." he said in a sad tone. He then leaves the store but was stopped by the owners voice.

Store owner:" wait, here you go." she said handing over the necklace.

Po:" but I don't have enough money."

Store owner:" well just give me what you have."

Po:" r-really ?"

Store owner:" yeah, I can see in your face that you really care for this girl and you did save my store from bandits, so consider this a thank you."

Po:" thank you very much!" he said bowing.

Store owner:" oh no the pleasure is mine."

Po then handed his money t the female pig and walked out of the store with the necklace safely tucked in his pockets.

The panda then started to walk back to the palace and into the kitchen,  cooking dinner for the others. By night time The five and shifu came into kitchen. As they entered all their jaws dropped.

The food po cooked was laid out like a feast. He cooked dumplings, egg rolls, chow mien and tea.

Shifu:" panda, what is the occasion for such a dinner."

Po:" well I thought since the baby is coming soon I wanted to celebrate with this."

Monkey:" this looks delicious, can we eat?"

Po:" dig in."

The five( except tigress) rush to their tables to eat. Tigress tries to get their but  had a hard time. She then felt a paw on her shoulder.

Po:" don't worry, I'll get your plate."

Tigress:" thanks po."

Minutes later

The masters all went to their barracks to sleep. Po, now sharing the same room with tigress, felt uneasy about dinner. Tigress could see this

Tigress:" something wrong po?"

Po:" are you okay?"

Tigress:" y-yeah, why do you ask?"

Po:" well you didn't eat  much at dinner."

Tigress:" I wasn't that hungry ."

Po:" but what if something's wrong, what if you're sick, that can effect the baby and-" he said being interrupted by tigress's finger to his lips.

Tigress:" po I'm fine. Stop worrying so much."

Po:" sorry, it's kinda my job, you know being a father and all."

Tigress:" well don't worry I'm fine."

Po:" well tell me when you're in pain okay."

Tigress:" okay." she said giving the worried panda a kiss good night.
